Governor Chris Christie and Other Politicians Torture Activist for 954 Days!

Anthony Parisi Sanchez of the Green Party was held hostage at the Cape May County Jail in New Jersey for 954 days, ALL in Solitary Confinement on fabricated charges of harassment, yes harassment !!!! The charges were brought by Governor Chris Christie,a USA presidential hopeful none the less, Mr. Christie's financial supporter and political power broker George S Norcross, State Senator Jeff Van Drew and Cape May Judge David S DeWeese, a Republican nominee and candidate for New Jersey State Senate.

While Mr. Parisi Sanchez was in solitary confinement, he was routinely tortured and beaten on a daily basis by numerous corrections officers who were also relatives of the county prosecutor Robert Taylor.

Warden Donald L. Lombardo and Sheriff Gary Schaffer were financial supporters of his accusers and we feel they intentionally denied him medical care, showers, phone access, laundry, daily exercise and protection from his corrections officers who engaged in the abuse we feel, with the intention of breaking Mr. Parisi Sanchez's spirit and will so that he would take a plea bargain rather than deal with the sadistically cruel acts of violence and demoralization by many CO's especially Joseph Hoover, Stephen Prince, Joseph McCorston, Michael Sharp, William Nielson, James Johns,Internal Affairs Perry& Knox who ignored all abuses and torture that were reported to them almost daily.

Recently, the US Supreme Court and many psychologists and sociologists recognized that solitary confinement is an avoidable form of abuse and torture during extended periods of time. Today, many US jails and prisons use and abuse this procedure.

Finally, upon Anthony Parisi Sanchez's being released, he became homeless after losing his home and all of his worldly possessions. He became extremely depressed and withdrawn due to the lingering side effects of the torture and abuse.

He then attempted suicide and  was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for four and a half months in order to obtain therapy.

Today, he is still tramatized and in therapy but remains eternally optimistic. He sure is a fighter.

Please, we ask you to sign this petition and urge New Jersey Attorney General John Jay Hoffman to investigate and then swiftly prosecute all guilty corrections officers and participating officials so that no other man or woman at the Cape May County Jail is ever subjected to this type of horror again.
