US Ambassador Corruptly Used Official Role to Accept Bribes. Demand Criminal Charges, Now.

Around a week ago, the White House ousted its ambassador to Greece, a Trump ally named Kimberly Guilfoyle. Guilfoyle had been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump and even almost married his son, Donald Trump, Jr. But then, reports surfaced that Guilfoyle had used her position as someone close to the Trumps to solicit bribes from wealthy Republican donors.

So now, she is no longer the U.S. ambassador to Greece. But why hasn't she been charged yet with the crimes of bribery and corruption? Sign the petition!

Text messages reveal that Guilfoyle had connected with Eric Deters, a Republican donor who runs a chain of pizzerias in Kentucky, and began to exploit him by asking for bribes. Deters agreed, because he believed that paying Guilfoyle money would endear him to the Trumps. In fact, in written messages, she even promises him that she would be his "Trump ride or die, forever and ever," and give him access to government officials, including at the IRS and Department of Justice. He also believed she would forward a song he wrote to Trump-ally and musician Kid Rock.

In one series of exchanges in July 2025, just before she was confirmed as an ambassador, she urged Deters to pay her $100,000 credit card bill, saying: "Honey please I need you to get this done for me today."

Deters later told journalists with MS Now that he had paid Guilfoyle around $300,000 over the span of multiple years. He said it "absolutely was a quid pro quo," except that he allegedly never received "one favor" in return for his payments.

The arrangement with Deters is only one example in a long line of scandalous and inappropriate behaviors. The Wall Street Journal has also reported that Guilfoyle accepted services and gifts that were improper, helped promote lobbyists, and allegedly even made a threat against an official from another country.

Losing her job as a representative for the U.S. abroad is a good first step, but bribery and corruption are serious allegations and require a proper, thorough investigation - and criminal charges. Sign the petition.
