Protect vulnerable Oregonians and the Workers Who Care for Them

For years, a crisis has unfolded at Oregon's long-term care facilities. The companies that own these facilities have systematically failed to adequately retain and train their staff, leaving vulnerable residents at the risk of neglect, illness, and even death. Now, the COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on the long-term care crisis, with 54% of Oregon COVID deaths occurring in congregate settings.

It's time for the legislature to take action to end the crisis, and they now have an opportunity to pass legislation that will protect vulnerable Oregonians and staff at these facilities.

Contact your legislator today and tell them to vote YES on HB 2327, SB 703, and SB 714 to protect long-term care residents and the people who care for them.
