Demand the Biden Administration Stop Expelling LGBTQ Asylum Seekers

In March 2020, the Trump administration issued a public health rule, Title 42, and used it as a pretext to shut down the U.S.-Mexico border. The Biden administration shamefully kept the rule in place, resulting in the cruel expulsion of hundreds of thousands of people seeking a better life.  

Title 42 is nothing but a tool to expel migrants and asylum seekers—including those who are LGBTQ—as quickly as possible. 

A federal judge ruled that Title 42 could put asylum seekers in danger of being sent back to countries where they will face persecution, but the Biden administration appealed the decision and is actively defending. it.
