Force tardy businesses to compensate customers to the tune of £200 per hour for being late for an appointment, or for keeping customers waiting on the telephone

It seems that efficiency in British Business is getting worse and worse, and too many customers wait in for workmen or representatives that do not turn up in the time slot given to them. Customers are often also kept waiting on the telephone for hours for service, and in our opinion, this has gone too far. So we are proposing that all customers who are left stranded by businesses in this way be compensated to the value of £200 per hour or part of an hour above the time promised, or on the telephone. This sort of ineffeciency can cause unwell people to have their health problems exacerbated, and causes stress.
