Help the St. Louis region breathe easier

Secondhand smoke is always a health risk, but the St. Louis region still lacks strong smoke-free indoor air laws. As a result, thousands of our friends and neighbors are forced to breathe in deadly carcinogens from secondhand smoke daily. Our families, neighbors, and friends deserve better.

No one should have to choose between their health and their job, but workers who are exposed to secondhand smoke are at increased risk of developing lung cancer and heart disease. For our health and for our local economy, it's time for us to stand up and pass a law to make all indoor workplaces – including casinos, bars, and restaurants – smoke-free.
