Stop The Contraband War
In the recent months it has come apparent that a feud has erupted between certain bands on the Contraband label. This must stop.
The Contraband Records contract (signed by all members) states:
- That anti-social behaviour, whilst representing Contraband Records, is prohibited.
- Abuse towards any members of Contraband Records (staff, volunteers, band members) is not tolerated.
- Breakage of rules will result in one’s contract being terminated.
In the recent months it has come apparent that a feud has erupted between certain bands on the Contraband label. These bands have grouped themselves into two sides; the Reds and the Greens. The Reds have increasingly resorted to the use of physical and verbal violence. This includes physical assault on a member of staff, verbal abuse and threats towards the Greens, and disturbances at Contraband events.
This behaviour has to and MUST stop.
It seems the staff at Contraband are becoming too lenient with the Reds. If you care about the future of Contraband Records please sign your name. This petition will be presented to the managers of Contraband with hope action will be taking out on those breaking the rules.
Please help us to restore the peace.
