This is a petition to encourage *NSYNC to record an album entirely comprised of a cappella songs.
Mr. Wright:
We would like to express our interest in having *NSYNC record an entirely a cappella album sometime after their next complete studio album. The five guys' voices harmonize so well that any song they have ever recorded or performed a cappella is really a remarkable thing to hear.
*NSYNC originally conceived of themselves as an a cappella singing group, but, as we all know, that goal shifted slightly as they entered into the industry. However, certain songs, such as 'I Thought She Knew', 'More Than a Feeling' from the European debut album, their arrangement of 'O Holy Night' on the Christmas album, and their recording of 'When You Wish Upon a Star' on the recent Disneymania! album, as well as their live performances of the national anthem, are throwbacks to this original goal.
We would like to propose that after the guys record their next album, they work on a special a cappella album. It can include some of the aforementioned already recorded tracks, but the addition of perhaps some a cappella arrangements of some of their pre-existing songs, as well as perhaps some new ones, would round out this album delightfully.
In addition to being something the fans would definitely enjoy, the album would go a long way towards silencing the critics who, despite much evidence to the contrary, still stubbornly cling to the belief that *NSYNC cannot sing. We cannot even begin to express how much we would love to add this album to our collection.
