Protect Children in Ghana From Child Labor

At least 600,000 children in Ghana are trapped in child labor. They are exploited in the fishing industry, in the sex trade, in domestic service, as street vendors, and more.

Children who are rescued need a safe home. They need caring foster families who will take them in and provide them with food, clothing, and the opportunity to go to school. Bethany Christian Services is providing training for foster families to welcome children, along with assistance for their school fees and health care.

Please sign above right to pledge to help protect children in Ghana. Your signature indicates you want to help vulnerable children live in safe, caring foster families. By signing, you also indicate that you believe children should be safe, not sold.

Pledge:

I am deeply concerned about children who are exploited in child labor in Ghana.

Whether they work on the streets, in the sex trade, in the fishing industry, or somewhere else, no child should have to live this kind of life. Every child should live in a safe, caring home. Every child should have the opportunity to go to school and build a future—not work 12 hours a day.

I pledge to help keep children in Ghana safe, not sold.
