welcome signers!   hope premises of rent petition will promote happiness world wide!  first entire housing crisis is somewhat fettered.  --why should there be such a problem?  has our planet run out of room?  Are we really so overpopulated we have no space to spare? To divert real issues,this problem is continually linked to other problems economic. per se: examine though inflations,recessions,depressions have oft existed without any housing shortage known.  Should the necessity of having a home be a business?-- with promises everyday that a carreer in real estate will guarantee staggering wealth. You can almost singsong ads "join trumps real estate business [or whomever];sky's the limit! [as if human beings  essential needs were not involved].  Set forth a few understandings relative to worldwide facts: economics in poland during latter  80's;average salary per week $5.00 [five dollars]. Still an eastern european nation did not lack homes;homes continued standing in security centuries;a polish indigent- with some pride could say  "homes were larger;stronger than american prefabs;without much need in renovations-- ;regardless of single digit income.  Salaries were not depriving  european nations home.
      Regarding basic necessities of life: food,clothing,housing,water; incredibly cheap in poland. [circa 1989] [food staples;mere pennies,fresh produce;nickels gave poland enough to eat,shelter.  What was difficult about poland's economy at international level;workers bereft luxuries-- as radios,or fans;bearing semblance of serfdom;when only  overlords could afford such[air conditioners]handcraft items[shoes] if futured to industrialization and consequent technology.  If housing shortages were simply due to overpopulation,lack of housing wouldn't appear   most chronic  in rural regions [circa 2008];where land-space is ample,proximities of persons even sparser.  Urban sprawl,congestion,[vis. a joke]pollution are not re-occuring themes of having created a housing shortage;poverty problems hit hardest rural regions worldwide.
    So what's happening?  Not strictly economic,spatial or climate,agricultural[poor crops],building materials,scant labor or like is something to explore.  Witness current construction boom in manhattan;more buildings everyday with problem homeless increasing.
       A  speaker from germany reports to usa whole towns in germany today lie empty of inhabitants buildings intact.[circa 2004] A documentary about russia is coming soon to  tv about entire abandoned regions of siberia emptying  inhabitants ;material possessions while nature crumbles away any sign of human footprint in its rapid erosion dynamic.  Take a trip through  town,suburb,rural region;even large city;londoner did--[circa 1988] and soon reports many buildings sit empty while families scramble for grub. Some tall structures with expotential floors of possibilities. The problem is not  enough places to dwell for persons who need places!  This petition sets forth that rents are high due to a mathematical refusal to do real math.  It is the way landlords levy rents;not choosing to add,subtract,divide multiply according components of problem.  There is no solving system for arriving at what rents should be;strictly speaking based on average yearly income indexes by continents;rationalizing [what seems to be true about salaries:-- applications speak 22,000.00 eligibility [circa 2008];assets over 47,000.00 thats too down the block;not aerial view of scanning every country every culture on planet.  Case of  sky is the limit here or there where-ever exploitation exerts[circa 2001-2008]has little to do with sky geography those real estate powers know how.  No medium rent argues points of facts about humans everywhere; yet urban cities say they represent cultures from every country.
     Decimal points are not calculated,if you don't think is case;look how ads are levelled at public telephone poles. [circa 1998-2008] Notice no cost  of advertising required;ads state apts. at 3,300;a great bargain! not $3,300.00.   Small point,seller can only think thousands or millions..  Could they have gotten away with this in second grade? Not on your life,-just relegate zeros without attached problem?  Will anyone punish math errors as grade teacher would? Are there even any signatures posted on these ads?  This situation is precisely a drastic absent quotient not really scientific where graphs shape rents according to living wages index an actual missing link.   A mathematical scare fourth dimension human.  How absurd that rentals are not based on enough sound facts;info plausability equations.  There are 5 billion persons on planet earth;if haven't read 'to esme with love and squalor'-- squalor in india means family of 4  lives on wages $500.00 a year [circa 2008];whereas "the great gatsby" in connecticut,opulent family  of 4  lives on wages  $100,000.00 a year.   this leaves $125.00 support each member family india,each member family  connecticut $25,000.00  How to go about solving problem of rent here showing 2 comparisons countrys 14 hours apart?[circa 1997] Find a law of mean averages worldwide to make rent make sense for everyone.  In order to solve ever escaping runaway rent sequences,everyone need be included an accurate quota of what income per year by planet;common denominator mankind.  Notice fiqures are incomes alongside what others elsewhere earns.  New  york city boasts a worldwide diversity;representing every nation;yet does nyc consider wide gap of living wages index divergences every nation in world earns in deciding what rent should be?[as urban new world springs up?]  If based upon realistic factors even rents over $349.00-600.00 for rich usa american family [connecticut];might decimal-out-of-control beyond mean averages to a devestating degree.  Starting to drift  off spectrum of reality check everyone-  not just india. We are hinting that something serious is happening;a run away math scare?  In this way if mathematics soundly gauges worldwide rents-- poor are protected;while protection of  rich is also secured enhancing from losing wealth potential.  Rent is no game. [vs. real estate pieces].
     Added mistake-- notion if rents were lowered- life will be askew;as  petition points out,unlikely.  [recall when rents were even lower than 3 digits;girls took more ballet lessons;then when rents peaked $8,000.00 with dance lessons $30.00 what happened. A reflection of this heard-- 2 teenagers walking down street exclaimed ballet as a career was out of question in todays economics. [this soundboard support is really a betrayal of grace.][circa 2006]
    Current gov. poor persons rights agree[ameliorate current trends]make rents 1/3 income;  wealth  believes  1/4 of  total income should actually be designated rent.  A family in new guinea could only afford $7.00 a month;a family of 4 in connectictut  per each $2,083.33 a month;without showing mean averages three comparisons,or examining  each families' income per capita. If law of averages is deleted from the way realtors arrive at rents;Connecticut soon becomes a standard of what all rents should be;[all]=a word of financial prejudice,as word [all] [grouping] does in every prejudice distorting  for many that can't live up to success ideal;soon necessities others being excluded regarding a basic need.
     The science of anthropology states humans have certain common needs required for survival;shelter,air,water,heat,food,clothing and human contact.  Height also a common factor,yet we often disparage over height.  Now shelter- some thinking is either a contest or symbol of status.   Propose income quota from every corner of  planet as overriding rental factor.  India and Connecticut very different fulcrums from debate - hint mean average $349.00.  Now rather than start at success $2,000.00 On grading scale we might realize that no-one should be paying over $600.00,and a few  $7.00  to struggle point making ends meet.  We no longer have runaway rent tribune call of--  "we will tie you to railroad tracks,cause you can't pay the rent [or else!!]"  A broad sense of melodrama beset with villian at large. This petition is not about housing extras.
             Make happiness worldwide. 
Real estate must face true math questions matched to human realities; make rents reflect wage indexes by a wide world map-- from india to connecticut,to brazil,to lithunia to peru- with some final inquiry that will help us view normal rents.  Today the news reports rents have gone down by $22.00 other type apartments as much as $30.00-$70.00.
