Ban Cruel Live Slaughter Practices of Cows in Bangladesh!!

It is very disturbing that so many people from around the world think so little of animals that they can disregard how they are treated, where they are raised as pets or for human consumption.  While they are in existence, animals should always be humanely treated and respected, but such is rarely the case.

http://headlines.peta.org/bangladeshleatherexposed/?utm_campaign=1215%20Bangladesh%20Leather%20Exposed%20Post&utm_source=PETA%20Facebook&utm_medium=Promo depicts cruel and inhumane treatment of cows and goats in Bangladesh, where many of these animals are so emaciated, malnourished and exhausted to the point that they could not even stand up.  They animals frequently suffered with festering wounds and broken tails, rarely receiving the vet care they deserved.  They also were illegally slaughtered on the streets for their skins and have their throats slashed.  The cruelty went on and on as seen in a recent video footage.

These animals do not deserve such treatment, having their skin ripped right off of their bodies while still alive and kicking!!!!  Our efforts in this petition is to encourage the government officials of Bangladesh to ban these cruel acts of animal abuse on cows and encourage more humane treatment of the cows and goats.  Additionally, it is in their best interest to ban tanneries that encourage and support this type of treatment in order to promote the production and sales of leather.  You can help us in our efforts by signing and sharing this petition, being a loud voice for these abused cows and goats.

President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid – We strongly urge you to implement and enforce a strict ban on the cruel and illegal slaughter of cows and goats for their meat and their skins.  Additionally, ban tanneries that encourage and support this type of treatment in order to promote the production and sales of leather.  Insist that these animals be handled in complete humane methods with full respect, culminating in repercussions for anyone that abuses the proper treatment of all cows and goats.
