Stop Separating Mothers and Children At The Border

Every mother wants her child to be safe, and women escaping danger in Central America want no less. They risk everything seeking protection for their children's lives.

When they finally make it to the U.S. border, they think they have reached safety. But instead of protecting families, the Trump administration rips children out of their mothers' arms. This is wrong.

Family is family, no matter where you're from. No child should be taken from their mother when she's trying to protect them. No mother should have to choose between losing her children and returning to a country where her life and the lives of her children are at risk.

No family seeking asylum should be separated at the U.S. southern border. The needless separation of families during immigration enforcement will only worsen if we don't speak out against it.
