Demand an immediate end to poorly bred lame German Shepherds being allowed to enter ANY competition within the UK, hold breeders and judges to account and to demand immediate review of the "Breed Standard" for the welfare and wellbeing of the breed!

Following the disgusting pictures of a lame German Shepherd dog winning Best of Breed at Crufts 2016, we the undersigned demand immediate and radical change to the "Breed Standard" of the German Shepherd to allow the breed to live as nature intended and not with a disgusting sloped back resulting in lameness and no end of rear leg/hip issues. In addition to this we request that the Kennel Club ban ANY breeders from entering any dogs "manufactured" like this, to your competitions and also ban any judge (including the judge invloved in this scandal) who think it is acceptable to even allow a dog of this poor condition to enter a ring in which they are judging let alone allow the dog to win, promoting this mutated lame condition as a "breed standard"
