The Dangers of Remaining Silent

"When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy...Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must--at that moment--become the center of the universe."

These words from Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel ring true today, as we are experiencing a rise in deadly racism, hate, and antisemitism that demands our attention.

During this painful time in our country, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum remains dedicated to teaching the critical lessons of the Holocaust that remind us of our shared humanity and responsibility to protect the dignity of all individuals.

Please help us continue teaching the world about the dangers of remaining silent in the face of unchecked hatred.
