The Charlestown Community needs to slow traffic along Brekonridge Centre Drive for the safety of our

Vehicles that travel through our community have a tendency to travel at an excessively high rate of speed. This past year we had one incident where an individual was traveling so fast through the community that they lost control of their vehicle, collided with a street light standard and knocked it off it's base. This happened in the early morning hours and even though the police responded very quickly, the individual drove away from the scene.

During the early hours of a work week, people from the Brekonridge Community speed along this road. This is also the time that our children are waiting on the corners for their school buses.
