While Supreme Court Justices don't have the same kind of ethical regulations that most federal judges abide by, most hold themselves to the same ethical code anyway.
Justice Clarence Thomas is not one of them. For years, Justice Thomas has accepted "gifts" from Harlan Crow, a Dallas real estate magnate and a major contributor to conservative causes. Access to a private yacht and jet, multi-million dollar contributions to the Justice's projects and $500,000 to Thomas's wife to start her conservative lobbying organization were all given during times that Crow had a stake in cases currently before the Supreme Court.
Justices in Clarence Thomas's situation have been honorable enough to resign from the court or recuse themselves from a vote, but Justice Thomas has refused to do either, damaging the reputation of the Supreme Court and threatening the validity of his voting.
Demand that Justice Thomas end his unethical practices by resigning from his post as Supreme Court Justice.

These conservative ties undermine your impartiality in votes on important issues.
