As we have seen recently here in Rhode Island...Animals that are considered "Hunting Animals" do not fall under the same protection standards as our domestic animals. They can be left out in frigid weather and the heat of the summer because our laws here are different for them....and because of this our local ASPCA and other Animal Rights Associations cannot help them. If we petition to change the Law in our State and contact members of the HEW Committee and ask them to VOTE IN FAVOR OF BILL H-5162 that will help change the lives of these animals that we are now unable to help because of the law as it is today.....people are able to hide behind the law as it is and those who want to help are unable to .....
