Operation Clana Without Kryptonite
Fellow watchers of Smallville, believers in love, and supporters of Clana:
We need every ounce of support to bring actress Kristin Kreuk back to Smallville as Lana Lang. Why? Because the show is nothing without the character of Lana Lang. The goal of this petition is not necessarily to just bring the Lana Lang/Clark Kent relationship back for all of season nine. After the previous eight years of strong passion between the two characters, all we need is a final episode ending the show on a happier note for the young power couple.

We fans have seen the joys for eight seasons. We have been with Clark and Lana as we watched them struggle through the journey from high school to adulthood. Their love has always persevered and has become undeniably strong. Now you have decided it is time to follow a different route. It is unquestionable that when the episode
Requiem aired, being Kristin Kreuk's last episode and ending with the seemingly permanent and forced separation of the couple, that you wished to move Clark into the Era of Lois Lane. How can this be? We urge you to re-watch the previous 7 seasons and reconsider tearing apart the legendary love that has been created. It is truly a shame that you would allow such a beautiful and epic love story to end so trajically simply because of a different outcome in other previous version of the Superman story. We understand that you have certain limitations when you are writing the story line. This is why we are not trying to be bossy or demanding. Make no mistake, we are very much grateful for the ending given in Requiem. As painful as it was, we were happy to see that, despite the circumstances, they were portrayed as loving each other very much. However if Kristin would consider coming back for at least the series finale, we would ask that you allow Smallvile to end with Clark and Lana reunited.
