Commemorative stamps for Australia's largest UFO Cases
Several incidents in Australian history are known worldwide. These both relate to aviation, They are significant because they effected so many peoples lives. We at VUFOA believe these events should be recognised and what better way than an Australian Stamp.
The first is the Frederick Valentich case of 1978, A Melbourne man dissapears while flying his 182L Cessna over Bass Strait in extremely strange circumstances, No body or wreckage was ever found, no oil slick, its like he just vanished. This was after a seven minute conversation with air traffic Control where he described a strange craft was buzzing all around him
The second incident was at Westall a Melbourne suburb. Two hundred children and several teachers claimed to have witnessed two UFOs that landed at their school. This has effected the lives of so many at the school even to this day.
This is why we at VUFOA feel strongly enough to petition Australia Post for these stamps to be produced.
We the undersigned request respectfully Australia Post to provide two stamps in the honour of two famouse Australian UFO cases that are known world wide. These two cases are The Frederick Valentich case from 1978 and The Westall Incident of 1966. We would very much appreciate your consideration for publication of these two stamps. I would like to thank you for reading our request and understanding you must have many requests, will wait in anticipation for your decision.
