Were you outraged at the Made episode where Alex wanted to be "made" into a skateboarder? I was! Holly was so nice to both the mother and Alex. Then the mother was so rude and childish...even threatening violence and to "rip her head off" or something for NO reason. I've never seen a mother behave so immaturely. I'm sure that mom is really kicking herself now- for coming off like such an asshat on national television.
Oh, and who can forget when moms tried to take over as coach with her "unique teaching methods" which included duck tape on the shoes and smacking a broom or lacross stick or some such thing around on the driveway. Either way, I can't believe that Holly was able to maintain such composure when being verbally assaulted and disrespected like that. She hardly rose her voice. At the very least, I would have expected Holly to break out into a fit of laughter in the mother's face. But no. Nothing. Holly is a lady, and refused to make herself look like a complete freakshow on TV. I think she deserves a medal, award or trophy of some sort for being able to function around that kind of lunacy.
