Justice for Dr. Chander Grover

Canadian Human Rights Tribunals twice found Canadian scientist Dr. Chander Grover's employer, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) guilty of racially discriminating against him. The NRC resisted the orders of the Tribunals, reneged on the remedies provided by them, and severely persecuted him to force him out of his job.

Although countless other courts and judicial bodies have found in Dr. Grover's favour over the past 25 years, the Canadian government, with the knowledge and indeed the support of the Auditor General of Canada, has spent more than $60 million to block a resolution in this shameful case.

We ask that you urge the Prime Minister of Canada to direct the NRC to immediately settle this case and to establish a public inquiry to disclose what has caused this debacle and to ensure that such human torture and financial abuse is never again allowed to be perpetrated by government officials on Canadian soil.
