LACEYS PLEDGE
In January 2009, 14 Year Old Lacey Meinel became another victim of a drunk driver. Another promising life cut short as a result of Wisconsin's culture of alcohol. In her honor, Laceys Pledge has been created as a means of telling our elected leaders that we have had enough and that we will keep Wisconsins roads safer by simply committing to not drive after we have consumed alcohol. Laceys Pledge is founded on one principle and one principle only
Wisconsin drivers want safe, alcohol free highways!
As a Wisconsin motorist, we are asking you to TAKE THE PLEDGE which simply states that if you drink, you wont drive. This will tell those that that make decisions and laws that you take your fellow driver's life seriously and you are committed to Wisconsin highway safety and they should be too - and that we will hold them accountable in the next election.
