No misleading mortgage modification companys!

I have been solicited by a number of mortgage modification companys and there are very misleading claims by the modifiers: "you have over a 90% for a modification" (without even having your paperwork) - or "don't worry - you can put a "stop check" on your bank account to stop payments if we cannot modify'' (untrue - all they need is your routing and bank account # and if you read their paperwork - you won't be getting any of your money back). Unauthorized charges are also a problem - if they did'nt get your signature on the paperwork - they'll still take money out of your account if they have the inf needeed (even though not authorized). At a time when homeowners are struggling these modification companys need not only to be licensed but also - 1) NO MISLEADING SALESPERSONS 2) NO UNAUTHORIZED AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWLS AND 3) SALESPERSON CANNOT MAKE FALSE CLAIMS (FOREMENTIONED) INCLUDING - YOU WILL GET MOST OF YOUR MONEY BACK IF WE CANNOT MODIFY - WHEN THE FINE PRINT SAYS OTHERWISE!
