People Fishing Without Boats

We the undersigned do not agree with the current ruling that individuals fishing from a boat may fish with two fishing rods and that individuals fishing from the shoreline or manmade structures extending from the shoreline of Ontario'sLake Erie and Lake St. Clair may only fish with one fishing rod.  We find the ruling that only people fishing from a boat in the above mentioed bodies of water to be discriminating against those who fish from shoreline/extensions of the shoreline.  It is our desire to move the Ontario MNR to cease discriminating against shoreline fisherman who pay and hold the same licence as fisherman in boats and allow them the same opportunity to fish with two rods
