SAVE THE NYC FAITH BASED SHELTERS

PETITION (PETICIÓN)

To: NYC Mayor (Alcade) Michael R. Bloomberg

We, the undersigned, request that you direct the Department of Homeless Services to stop the process leading to a Request for Proposals to bid on the faith-based Emergency Shelter Network, and meet with the Partnership for the Homeless and members of the faith community to develop cost-cutting measures that will allow the faith community to continue to provide much needed shelter in the absence of affordable housing.
