The bicentenary of the arrival of l Emperor Napoleon to l'île d'Elbe is profiled for 2014. The state of Italy will grant an important sum (1.200.000 euros) in particular to arrange the two imperial residences of Mulini and San Martino. Mister the Minister for the Culture, Francesco RUTELLI, of passage to Mulini this 28 July 2007, known as "orgueilleux of the imperial stay with l'île d'Elbe" and it will invite french president SARKOSY to discover the museums... Before all that, I believe qu'il would be more than time that l Emperor has a statue worthy of his name because in 300 days he has made more than will never do some. Doesn't one say yet now - and not always for humor- that it would be time that he returns to put a little order here low? The only statuette which exists finds back of the house of San Martino, hidden by the vegetation and in sorry state. The project of this true statue exists with the museum of Misericordia, salita Napoleone with PORTOFERRAIO. It is superb and is the work of the sculptor Turillo SINDONI (Rome 1908) It is thus more than time to make it realize and to place it in a place where the tourists will see it while arriving at the port, for example in Molo Elba where it unloaded on May 4, 1814. A French sculptor of the name of ZIEGLER has just made out of bronze the statue of the General BERTRAND in the french city of MONTEREAU. Cheer for this commune which maintains the duty memory! As local autority never answers the courriels or the verbal interpellations (or then very vaguely) - it was still the case this 5 May 2007 at the church of the Misericordia- I launch the present petition while hoping will obtain any desired attention. It will be given to the town hall at the beginning of 2009 because the local elections take place in June. The local press and the blogs and forums of l'île will be also informed of the result.
