Speed Limit Reduction at "Hatton Curve"

We, the residents of Hatton Road south of Ocean Avenue, Carmel, California, do hereby petition the Monterey County Board of Supervisors to reduce the existing speed limit of _____ miles per hour to 15 miles per hour at the Hatton Road curve beginning at or about 25800 Hatton Road when driving southbound.  The existing speed limit has created a considerable danger to residents, pedestrians, and bikers along the narrow road that has single lane traffic in both directions.
