
The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (http://www.spp.gov/), was introduced in 2005 by President Bush, in agreement with former President Fox (Mexico), and Prime Minister Martin. Our upcoming and new Presidential hopefuls and Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Barack Obama, and John McCain also back this proposal. The SPP Plans to tri-laterally integrate our continent into a North American Community/ North American Union, through the tools of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and North America%u2019s SupperCorridor Coalition (NASCO) http://www.nascocorridor.com/. This privatization and globalization effort was not put into vote by Congress instead was bypassed by back door agreements.
This is not some mass conspiracy, this is fact, and the superhighways are real they are just not talked about or mediated. When direct statements are asked to either parties they tend to divert the answer or make a joke of the matter. These corridors alone cannot create a NAU, but are a brick in the wall. The EU was created in the same fashion; first it was a steel trade for e-commerce then integrated into smaller bodies and now forms larger bodies of government. The SPP has stirred the pot in a more open media in Canada where they have protested in Ottawa, and Montebello, there have been smaller protests in Texas also. Lou Dobbs of CNN has been the only major reporter to touch on this issue, and he was persuaded to leave it alone.
Cintra/Zachry Corporation proposes to invest 7.2 Billion Dollars to develop approximately a 600-mile, Oklahoma to Mexico portion of the Trans Texas Corridor. The first phase of Cintra-Zachry's proposal calls for construction of a $6 billion toll road between Dallas and San Antonio by 2010. The innovative transportation partnership is attracting private capital to fund transportation improvements and reduce congestion in the region. Through eminent domain land will be seized or undersold to move forward with this mass transit corridor.
This multi-use corridor will include lanes for passenger vehicles, trucks and rail and dedicated zones for water, electric, telecommunications and other utility lines, this is just in Texas alone. This will ineffectively hurt our economy by taking farms and residential land of hardworking landowner%u2019s a potential 584,000 acres in Texas alone weakening our mom and pop stores that depend on traffic from the current roads. NAFTA has displaced over 1.3 million American jobs since emplaced in 1994, when were told it would help create job growth. Don%u2019t believe the hype. They plan to privatize the corridors and lease them out to big business, while we pay for it with our tax dollars and then have to pay toll on top off it. Once this is fully implemented there is no turning back, we cannot stop companies bypassing our Union freighting companies and our dockyards and directly shipping China%u2019s GDP across our borderlines to bring down costs. Hutchison Ports Holding (HPH) an owned subsidiary of China%u2019s Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL) is investing millions to expand deep-water ports in Mexico%u2019s Pacific coast.
Inland Smart Ports are now in play costing $3 million our tax dollars alone just in Kansas (http://www.kcsmartport.com/), other proposed ports are in Chicago. These inland Smart Ports will be partially ran by Mexican custom officials. This will lead to increased drug and human smuggling not to mention money laundering. The Mexican truck drivers will be then regulated under NAFTA road and safety guidelines and not our Road and Safety Commission. They also has Sintra/EZ passes in place equipped with RFID chips that are a green light for inspection, because it is a sealed trusted NAFTA product. NAFTA plans to build a superhighway the width of a football field through advantageous areas from the south end of Mexico through Texas, Kansas, Chicago, California, Detroit, Indiana, New York, Ottawa, Alberta along with Winnipeg. Not all of the corridors will be ass massive they will be based on the needs and the location of the proposals. If they are blocked by one area of route they have plan b and c. This will cause major damage to our trucking industries, shipping, and sea freight workers, which accounts for hundreds of thousands of people. This will make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. SPP was formed behind closed doors without congressional approval, and with little public knowledge. They want to sell this to the public as a safety measure and will stop at nothing. Here are a few bullets as to what they are trying to sell you on: The SSP home websites states-
· The Government must divulge any and all public and privatized plans to create this superhighway before an ethics committee as long as it doesn%u2019t affect reasonable national security. Also they must disclose any and all financial records on grants given, tax dollars spent or donations sent to any parties involved in these matters that stand to profit or gain in these matters. The matter is to be overseen by a watchdog group who has no gain or political ties to make public all matters, and disclosure in full to public as long as it doesn%u2019t affect reasonable national security.
· · If eminent domain is to take place, fair market value should be the projected income off the land owners profit or income based on the following years net and not of which the current value which is set by the state equalized value. Also amend in law that landowners will be reimbursed annually for a undetermined number of years based on the percentage profit of that land through tolls and other profited areas on thoughs who lease/own the infrastructures. Also other profit goes to community development in the towns and cities affected from this tolled road or railway.
· · If the highway/rail corridor is to be made, that eminent domain states the power to take private property for "public use". If this is true no single individual is restricted from using this superhighway unless in the event of national security. If not used for public use, and it for the welfare or public interests, that it must go through the appropriate hearings via court or city council and must go before a voting process for which we democratically and systematically will be voted on by the public and not a committee or court.
· · Any proposed superhighway/rail tolled corridor must go through the electoral process systems of each state affected by this to make a vote on its further development.
· Any land development for the purpose of this multi-use corridor which include lanes for passenger vehicles, trucks and rail and dedicated zones for water, electric, telecommunications and other utility lines. Must fall under EPA regulations and laws, and any other organization that specializes with wild life preservations. Also the corporations involved will be held accountable for wetlands, protected areas and naturalized species. Also that any water ways used must be disclosed and proposed prior to development to conserve wild life and safe drinking water for the persons or wild life affected.
· Also any Non-U.S. citizen using this road under NAFTA regulations must fall under our Domestic road and safety laws and not NAFTA.
· Any illegal activity of Non-U.S. Citizens driving through our Nation will fall under U.S. laws and regulations, and not have immunity.
