Government of Spain: comply now with the anti-corruption recommendations of the Council of Europe

Political corruption in Spain has long been unsustainable. The Partido Popular, currently in government, accumulates countless cases of corruption in their ranks, and judicial independence is compromised long ago. Organizations such as the Council of Europe are concerned about this situation and has been warning the Government of Spain about the need to take decisive action against corruption.

But four years after the Council of Europe issued several recommendations for Spain to improve measures to guarantee judicial independence and prevention of corruption in Parliament, there is still no progress.

We can not continue allowing Spain to remain as a haven for corruption at the eyes of Europe. It's time to ak the government of the Partido Popular to take seriously the recommendations of the Council of Europe and begin to implement them.
