The Legislature frequently makes laws for the American public and then exempts themselves or makes seperate laws for themselves. We demand the Conress and the Senate amend the Constitution of the United States of America so as to limit the Legislature to term limits of 2 terms. of 6 years. Further, we demand that elected federal officials receive no benefits at the expense of the taxpayers. All elected officials will have an IRA account as their only retirement program, pay the full premuim for health and life and disaability insurance. Elected officials will also participate in Social Security and be forced to enroll in the same Medicare plan upon age 65 as the rest of the citizens. The Legislature will also be prohibited from receiving campaign donations from corporations , PACs or any other organization except inididual citizens whomay donate no more than $2500 to any campaign annually. The Legislature will also be prohibited from voting pay raises for its' memebrs without a vote by the citizens. Further the Legislature will make no laws for the rest of the publlic that exempts themselves from the law.
