In 2010 the Stuxnet virus that completely disabled government weapons, simply being transferred by the insertion of a USB demonstrated a new massive national and global threat to countries. Since 2010 Australia has been able to prevent four mass casualty attacks by online intercepted data. If the Australian government can retain data it will add one more tool in their belt for the prevention of terrorist attacks,child pornographers, and online hackers.
