Recent years have seen a dramatic increase in the demolition of Palestinian homes at the hands of Israeli authorities. In 2016, Israel committed a record number of demolitions and seizures of Palestinian homes, schools and other structures - displacing thousands of Palestinians.

And throughout 2017, demolitions have remained at these record high levels in occupied East Jerusalem. Many Palestinian communities are at constant risk of expulsion.

The state of Israel is carrying out this destruction, but UK companies are profiting and making it possible for these crimes to continue. HSBC arranges billions of pounds of loans to companies that sell bulldozers and other products to Israel used to demolish Palestinian homes and schools, and used in the construction of Israel's illegal Apartheid Wall.

By financing companies that support Israel's house demolition policy, banks like HSBC are directly linked to Israel's brutal violations of Palestinian rights, and we must hold them to account.
