A New Life For Tony !

Our aim is simple - it is to enable Tony to be given a pasport for him to be taken to the West for treatment and to enable him to live a life he so richly deserves. We have attempted twice to secure a passport and have failed. We would be very grateful if people who believe in their hearts that to sign a petition for Tony (that can be presented to the Local Government here in India) may at last help the cause of this child, would please sign it. If you would like any further information I will gladly let you have it. We do have a website, and several other pages for Tony too!
Tony was born with phocomelia, but is extremely intelligent and loving, fluent in English and needs for this to happen soon as our ops here have to end. through lack of funding we cannot continue for much longer and if Tony has to be left here, his potential will never be realised and he will simply be put into care and forgotten. PLEASE help us help Tony.

We, the undersigned do now implore those of you responsible for making the final decision for the child known as Tony, to be given a Passport, in your positions as Officers of the Government of Tamil Nadu, to enable this child to continue creating a wonderful future for himself and his country :
1. That this child has been cared for, loved and given every available opportunity to enable him to develop to the standard he has developed.
2. That this work has been carried out totally free of charge and without prejudice of colour, creed or caste.
3. That this child will be capable of great things when he becomes an adult and may then bring back to India, all the knowledge and experience he will have gathered, and be in a position to help and assist other chidlren born as he was born - with phocomelia.
4. That this child be permitted to travel to the United Kingdom, Ireland and France and therefore be granted a Passport to do so, in order for him to finish his education and expand on his already significant abilities of speaking to people who feel they have no hope in life.
5.That he may be permitted, when granted a Passport, to continue touching the lives of many people thousands of miles away through things that he does and says which are passed on by his carers here in India, to those people and who's lives have been radically altered because of this child.
6. That in permitting a Passport,he may be able to visit the many people who have loved and cared for him in letters only, to see him in the flesh - including those who are aged and whose main wish is to see Tony before they pass on to the next life.
7.That he may become a wonderful Ambassador for India to the many people he will be sure to meet throughout his life's journey.
8. That all this would be carried out and achieved with no cost to the Government of India or her people - and with only admiration for that Country that had produced such a wonderful, loving and coureageous child.
Therefore, in ending, we the undersigned do hereby pledge our support that in our belief, Tony should be permitted to receive a Passport to enable him to become the next great Ambassador for India and her people.
With our hearts, we thank you for taking the time to read this petition and we ask for God's blessings upon you and your families.
