A Spiritually Diverse Nation

We the undersigned wish it to be acknowledged by the United States Government that we are not a solely Christian Nation with only Christian values. While it is true that many of our Founding Fathers were Christian, many of them did not follow the Christian values pushed on the American population by conservative politicians. And more than a few of those Founding Fathers believed more in science that in their faith. That, however is in the past. Today, we have a nation comprised of people following the Spiritual paths of many faiths. We the people of The United States are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Followers of the Faiths of the Native American People, Sikh, Taoist, Wiccan, Shamans, Neopagans, Scientologists, Rastafari, and followers of many other spiritual paths that are followed by our fellow American Citizens. We ask that you, our first line of representation in the United States Government, acknowledge this fact publicly and urge the Senate to do so as well.
