Bring more diversity to "American Idol"!

Ever since season 8 (the season Scott Macintyre,a legally blind man and Adam Lambert, an openly gay man were part of) has aired, there has only been a little bit of diversity displayed on the reality show "American Idol". In seasons past, it hasn't always been that way. In past seasons, those who were considered different had to hide who they were (AI2's Clay Aiken hid his sexual orientation for many years before coming out in early 20O9) some hopefuls were even cut right at auditions because the judges felt they didn't look like what an "American Idol" should look like. This year's "American Idol" winner, Kris Allen made it all the way to the winning spot and he didn't have to look perfect to earn any votes.
the point i'm making is you never see many unique people audition for "idol" and get through because most of the time, most of those kids are (sadly, until season 8 when this barely was being shown on tv) being bullied by the judges until they come out of the room in tears!
please sign so we can have more ignorance-free seasons like AI8 and bring more diversity to "Idol"!
We the undersigned are disappointed in the way your auditioning process for the show "American Idol" is handled. Until this past season (season 8), every audition was hard to watch considering how the judges would bully those contestants who were different from what the "Idol" standards are supposed to be (as mentioned by the judges themselves evey audition).
We know it's a singing competition, but do you?
Do you realize how much trouble you could get into for discriminating people in these past seasons (excluding season 8) on national television during these auditions?
Just because someone doesn't live up to your "Idol" standards doesn't mean they lack potential to be there.
We ask you to stop making ratings by bullying people who can't take it. No one wants to see that on tv. Why do you think some of the previous "American Idol" alums stopped watching?
Thanks for your time and paitience and have a nice day.
