The Sports Media in Canada doesn't think Canadians are interested in Motocross, which is why they don't cover it.
The truth is Canadians love motocross! We have some of the best Athletes (yes I said athletes) in the world and it's time these tremendous riders were recognized in the athletic community.
Please sign this petition demanding the media cover motocross with the same frequency as the bat and stick sports. Together let's show them how many Canadians love this sport!
The Monster Energy Motocross Nationals is the largest Motorsport Series in Canada. It is a summer long series which draws the top motocross athletes from around the world to compete in 9 rounds across Canada. Unlike any other Sporting Series, the Motocross Nationals are inclusive of both male and female athletes with both racing on the same day.
Motocross is a sport rich with history dating back to Europe in 1924 where the first Motocross Scramble took place. It is also a sport deeply rooted in family and community and remains one of the few professional sports that is friendly on the family pocket book. Each year hundreds of thousands of Canadians trek out to the Monster Energy Nationals to witness what has become Canada's underground family sport.
We urge media in all types of outlets to televise and cover the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals as they would baseball or hockey. These athletes work just as hard if not harder and their performance is equally exciting. Canadians deserve to see these athletes in action.
Demonstrated by our signatures and support, in not covering the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals media outlets are missing an incredible revenue opportunity.
