Fight for Our Bite!

For many years I ( as  probably many) have suffered from dental pain; decays, root canals, ulcers, abscesses, crowding teeth (Malocclusions) teeth growing the wrong way %u2013 into others even, and not to mention my Wisdom teeth.. Oh yes and how could I forget all the times I%u2019ve been sick with tonsillitis or had flu like symptoms or massive headaches from tooth pain %u2013 which I%u2019m sure like many, don%u2019t like using %u2018Band-Aids%u2019 by taking pharmaceutical products  24/7 (nurofen etc.)

So it%u2019s cost my family and I so much pain and suffering and not to forget money$. Dentists charge bundles, thousands and then more thousands!.

I don%u2019t know about you.. but I%u2019m sick of it!!

The Australian Government (currently in position-Australian Labor party- K.Rudd) is willing to cover those unemployed or on govt. benefits from suffering extreme pain, with procedures that just have to be done%u2026

And then there%u2019s the %u2018High society%u2019 group with money$, who are obviously exempt from these worries and hassles, not ever needing to worry about these things.

But what about all the working class/working hard Australians: that put into our economies, that go to work every day in their place of employments, businesses to run or to the beautiful mothers out there with family%u2019s of their own???.. Australians.. paying bills, mortgages, studying & starting families in Australia the country we call %u2018home%u2019.

So do we get help? when our health%u2019s start to deteriorate and our bodies start suffering pain and ill health%u2019s (stemmed from tooth decay, gum diseases and periodontal disease).

Yeah, but to what extent?- Full cover like the groups mentioned earlier, or Australia%u2019s %u2018higher classes%u2019 citizens who have the monies$ to spend.

The answer is No!: No we don%u2019t get full cover, in fact the best private health insurance offered, to cover us Australians is about up to 15% subsidy for our dental procedure rebates- If that!. And a check-up every 6 months.

AND THAT%u2019S THE BEST OUR GOVERNMENT CAN OFFER??????

Because I want our voices to be heard! I believe that the government should help the lives & health%u2019s & well being of their country, OUR country!! Australia! That we all love & work so hard to build bright & healthy futures for.

& teeth being so important in many factors of our lives

 Shouldn%u2019t it be something Australians can be proud about, where ever we go%u2026. Our healthy gums and shining teeth!

So Rudd, why don%u2019t you step up and cover at least half (50%) of Australians dental health work, give us something to smile about J where ever we are, our Australians, your Australians, Our health%u2019s.
