I have a right to survive and live

I was a victim of domestic abuse for about a year and I am here to tell you I am a survivor! I want everyone to know that I wasn't in the typical abusee (victim). You would have never know what I was enduring at home if you saw me out in public. I wasn't getting punched,  kicked or thrown down the stairs. I was in the beginning stages. The name calling, the monitoring of my moves, talking down too, pushed, getting things thrown at me etc. It became apparent that I wasn't a wife but an item. Before I had my beautiful daughter I left to safe her life as well as mines. There's more to my story as I know there must be tons of yours. I'm here to say that you have a right to survive and live!

I was unable to get an injunction because it had been months since those things had happened even though he showed up to my job, my parents job and my home at night. Now getting a divorce difdn't protect me either because I was told that by law I was suppose to give  him my location since I had his child. He is free and able to do what he please since he has my social and now my daughters as the court says it is his right. Nevertheless, he has a history of violence, has had a restraining order from the mother of his first child and he has threatened to kill me in front of my infant child. The courts basically has given him a license to empty a clip of bullets in my head as he see fit.

Well, before that happenes I an determined of fighting until my very last breath. It may be to late for me but for my daughter, for you children and for you, man or woman I am leaving this legacy. Help me make it right! Help others like me or in worst situations have the right to survive and live.
