The western NHL teams get the short end of the stick (pun intended) when it comes to travel, and if Jim Balsillie gets his way and relocates the Phoenix Coyotes to Ontario, the situation will get even worse. Southern Ontario may be underserved by hockey frachises, but the northwest is is not served at all! The Portland/Tacoma/Seattle corridor iis home to a HUGE popultation of proven sport supporters. They may not have been born with hockey pucks in their mouths like we were, but they sure like watching pucks fly.

Do we need another NHL team or what? Every Canucks game has been sold out for years. For Pete's sake, if Alberta can support two NHL teams, we sure can. Let's get Mr. Balsillie's attention, Gretsky's attention, Bettman's attention, and get the Coyotes moved to the Portland/Tacoma/Seattle area. Get on the bandwagon - let's make this petition bigger and louder than makeitseven!
