65 million in U.S. with STD's, 2 types kill.

The bible has much to say about sexual immorality. In earlier times human knowledge of disease and disease transmission were very limited compared to what we know now with the advent of modern medical science and technology.

Although biblical authors had limited knowledge of modern medical science and disease theory they did understand that God's word was/is true and refrained from and warned others about fornication. (sex between two unmarried people) 

Modern advances in medicine and infectious disease theory are able to reveal to us explicitly how sexually transmitted diseases are spread.

Obviously, one way in which sexually transmitted diseases are spread is from sexual intercourse between two people who have no knowledge of one anothers sexual history and decide to take a chance hoping they will not catch an sexually transmitted disease......usually these two people are not married and this is defined as fornication.

Unfortunately this is a gamble that many people lose because at the present time 65 million people in the United States are living with sexually transmitted diseases (that's about one in four US citizens.)

Several of these sexually transmitted diseases are deadly such as hepatitis and HIV/AIDS and have no cure and can have very few symptoms  for years before the infected person finds out they're infected.

Hepatitis can cause liver cancer and cirrhosis which can destroy the liver and kill you and others.

Other less deadly sexually transmitted diseases can also disfigure and damage sexual organs in both men and women and also severely damage internal organs leaving those affected sterile (unable to have children) and sickened.

There is a side of this that many people do not consider when they engage in fornication or "casual sex" and that is that when you have sex with someone whose sexual history you don't know and then have sex with someone else.....especially if you have not gone to a doctor to be tested to see if you have been infected with a sexually transmitted diseases you are potentially infecting hundreds, thousands or millions of people with a potentially deadly disease....how is that possible you say?.....that is possible because the person you've had sex with can have sex with 5 more people and those 5 have sex with another 5 each and those 5 with another 5 each and this can go on for years.....continuing even after your dead for many, many years.

Yes it is true that with our own irresponsible behavior we can inadvertently kill and/or injure more human beings than Adolph Hitler.....this is a very difficult concept to grasp yet within the bounds of mathematical probability.

Yet with all this what we need to do is heed what the bible says and refrain from fornication.

If you find that you do not have the will power to do that.....if your a man.....find a good wife or if your a woman....find a good husband that you love and marry them......and both of you should go to a doctor and be tested for all sexually transmitted diseases including hepatitis which is also sexually transmitted and deadly.

Fornication.....as well as the homosexual lifestyle are not considered acceptable by God according to the Bible which is considered the inspired word of God by billions of human beings.

Many millions of people around the world now live celibate lifestyles (they do not have sex with anyone) and enjoy their lives a great deal.

Jesus loves you and wants you to inherit the kingdom of God but to do this we must live our lives in a Godly manner and not infect each other with diseases which can kill, maim and cause chronic suffering.....Jesus said that to love God and to love one another embodied all the commandments of the law.....when we love one another we do not infect, kill and maim one another with dangerous and deadly viruses and bacteria.....we do everything in our power, within the bounds of reason, to stop that from happening.....and the best way to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases is to refrain from fornication and stay sexually pure or virginal until marriage.

We the undersigned agree to make an effort to educate ourselves and others.....including our children.....about the physical and moral dangers of fornication or casual sex and refrain from such behavior to the benefit of our moral as well as physical health and also to the benefit of others.
