No Whedon, No Buffy - Boycotting WB's Buffy movie

I thought 2012 would be a bad enough year, what with theories of the world ending. Yesterday, I find a whole new reason to dread 2012 - Warner Brothers has announced that they are making a brand new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie - with no input from Joss Whedon whatsoever. To this, I say nay. To credit John Kubicek's (Senior Writer, BuddyTV) statement - "Find me one person who liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer but not Joss, and I'll show you a liar."

Due to thousands of comments in less than 24 hours from fans everywhere about their disgust and appall at this monstrosity, I've started this petition. Buffy fans, unite, and show WB just how wrong they are in thinking we as fans are happy about this.
