NUISANCES PETITION

We, the citizens of Sedgwick County, Colorado, do hereby demand that Town of Julesburg Ord. 267 S1, 1967; Chapter 8.12, section 8.12.010, through 8.12.090, be enforced.  It is imperative the governing bodies, i.e., Sedgwick County Commissioners and the Julesburg City Council (Mayor and elected Trustee's) fulfill their obligation to said citizens.  The section of Hwy 385 from I76 interchange north, which is now annexed to Julesburg, and the area along Hwy 138 east to the state line, as well as the Town of Julesburg, be dealt with in the necessary manner to guarantee no nuisances remain.  This includes all licenses & permits required by CDOT, State of Colorado Highway Dept., the Fire Marshall, and any Government entities required to maintain ordinances, building guidelines, permits, codes, and licenses.

It is also necessary to require all vehicles and trailers to be registered whether the vehicle is used or not.  This new legislation, SB09-108, went into effect June 1, 2009.  Fees will increase each year through June 30, 2012.
