Reinstate Mokena 159 Before & After Programs

The Mokena District 159 Board of Education has voted to eliminate of before and after-school programs (such as sports teams, band, drama club and National Honor Society, yearbook and  intramurals), and reduce kindergarten from a full day to half day.  Once again the School Board has acted without thinking about the consequences. Eliminating these programs will decrease our home values even further and make businesses and families move out.  As taxpayer's we have the right to say NO! Parents, Students, Taxpayers ban together and make the Board of Education sharpen their pencils instead of eliminating the heart and sole of the community!
