Reject Monroe County's Proposed Land-Use Plan

The Monroe County Commissioners will vote soon on a proposed comprehensive land-use plan. This is important because such plans are the foundation of future local zoning ordinances that will affect you, whether you're looking to buy a house, find a job, grow a business or sell land. This proposed land-use plan will negatively affect affordable housing, job creation and government revenue in Monroe County. 
We the undersigned call on the Monroe County Commissioners to reject the proposed plan unless significant amendments are made. A Monroe County land-use plan must balance environmental protection, economic opportunity and personal choice in order to provide the best future for Monroe County and its residents.
