Sheetal Sheth deserves recognition in Hollywood

South Asian Americans have not been given the representation that they deserve in American movies. South Asian Americans are every bit as American as any other type of American and they deserve to be considered Americans. Sheetal Sheth should be given a role in a major Hollywood movie! She would be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, if they would only give her a chance!
To whom it May concern :
We the undersigned believe that Sheetal Sheth has not received a role in a major Hollywood movie because she is of South Asian descent. Further, we believe that she is a very talented and capable actor who deserves to receive such a role. South Asian Americans have been discriminated against in Hollywood because casting directors feel that they do not look American enough to play roles as Americans.
Americans come from many different countries. There's no particular way that an American looks. Anyone from any nationality can become an American. For this reason, we believe that anyone from any nationality should be able to play an American in a major motion picture.
As a representative of South Asian American actors Sheetal Sheth should be given a role in the major Hollywood movie. We are tired of seeing the same old types of people year after year portrayed in Hollywood. We are ready to see someone different on movie screens across America and around the world. We are ready to see Sheetal Sheth and other South Asian actors receive recognition from Hollywood!
