Street lights in memory of Scotty Parish
In the past three (3) months there has been three (3) fatalities on Jamacha Blvd. in El Cajon. There are no street lights and the cars drive far above the speed limit. It is a very dangerous street.
"We the undersigned" are determined to have street lights, warning lights, reduce the speed limit on Jamacha Blcd. in El Cajon. There has been three (3) fatalities on Jamacha Blvd. in El Cajon within the last three (3) months. The streets are very dark and very unsafe for pedestrians, bicycle riders, joggers, walkers, people pulling out of their driveways. To prevent further accidents, deaths, this street needs street lights and to reduce the speed limit from 45 mph. to at least 35 mph. Vehicles driving North on Jamacha Blvd. fly up and over the hill at speeds over 45 mph. Flashing lights and reduced speed limit signs prior to vehicles going over the hill could reduce the possibilities of accidents and or fatalities.
