Our Veterans we owe it to them

I am writing to urge you to support  of government officials and all Americans thur out the world help change the way we treat them and give thanks and support to the many in need today and in the future.
Many of the Viet Nam era veterans and their spouses are getting hung out to dry. This is my opinion. The agent orange and mustard gas used then, now according to the government. Can cause problems even after 20 years of being exposed. They only want to give very Little benefits and you must continue to get treatment. Even if they are unable to work at anything for a living they still only get very little. This not only is the Viet Nam era, but from world 1 to today con-flicks over seas and here in our own backyards.
I recently lost a brother of 61 years young. He spent 2 tours in Viet Nam and was in the area of great exposure to the chemicals. He never complained or even asked for help. He only had benefit for a short time. Now they refuse to help his spouse, for they say it may not be caused by the chemicals. This is BULL they tested and retested and tested again. Government testing states it causes heart problems, diabetes, respiratory problems, peripheral neuropathy, and many more,AL amyloidosis.  There are veterans alive today even from world 1 and a few from world war 2 that are in need of care and depend on their spouse to for 24/7 care. And so many today and more ever day in need of care the same way. Some may be able to do a little but not a normal as many may have and be able to be a real father or mother as it was before their disability. They may not have wanted to be in a con-flick, but if they don't would we have our freedom as we have in the greatest country in the world.
So sign this petition, forward it to all you know. You don't have to be a veteran to sign this petition. We all owe it to our veterans to honor and support in every way we can.
Call you county and government officials, even the white house. Let them know it's time to hold up to their promise of taking care of our veterans this includes their spouses. And let them know to quit playing GOD and look at the veterans to see their condition.
And the spouses deserve benefits from the veterans disabilities, for they are the nurses,Dr's,home care provider who spend days of endless duty caring for them 24 hour 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Some are bed fast and the spouse is the only one there to care for them. They never get paid for their services. And when the veteran is gone what do they get NOTHING. This is not the American way for the spouse are the backbone of the Veterans.
There are veterans suffering from illness they endured while serving our country as far back as World War one to the present day. And I believe it's their wish to have their spouse be taking care of after they are gone. And leaving them with something to survive on besides heart aces. But thanks to the red tape and all the regulations of today they get NOTING on the most part. We need to change this and get  something in legislation passed to have the spouses get entitlement also.
