Let's End Republican Obstruction In Washington

Republicans signed a pledge of alliegence to Grover Norquist, and have forgotten their pledge to the American people to act fairly on our behalf. They remain committed to keeping tax cuts in place for the wealthiest people in the country, while placing the burden of higher tax rates squarely on the backs of the middle class and working poor.

Leading Republicans have promised to stand resolutely against efforts by the president to fulfill a campaign promise to raise taxes on the country's upper-income earners. Even after a resounding victory the landscape of U.S. politics has changed very little in Washington.

It's time to give President Obama what he needs, a Congress that is willing to help every American, and not just a fraction of just the super-rich.
