Despite concerns raised by fans & general public, Stereophonics continued to play concerts that crammed thousands together when other major events were being cancelled to avoid spreading the Corona virus.
Other major events like the 12 Nations Rugby & a Cardiff City football match were cancelled along with concerts & tours by most other bands.
There have now been surges in the confirmed number of infection cases in surroundings areas, a week after the concerts. This may be coincidence, but at least 3 concert goers have become ill with suspected Corona symptoms, according to a family member's post on Twitter.
It is quite possible that these concerts have spread the infection to many & as a result will put extra strain on the NHS.
We feel that the responsible thing to do, for the band, their management & venues, is to provide funding for P.P.E. & ventilators to assist staff at the relevant hospitals. It has been made common news that these items are in short supply, so contributions from these wealthy musicians could help save lives.
