Bring ASL Classes Back To Moorpark!

As you all know, Moorpark College once had sign language classes. The classes were allegedly removed because a hearing professor taught the class pretending to be deaf. In an attempt to save face, they removed the program all together. We are not alone in being outraged at the removal of this class or the reasoning behind it. When we spoke to people on campus, they revealed that they and people they knew all had a desire or a need to take the classes. More outraged? The deaf community, we reached out to deaf people from all over and the general consensus is that the removal of this program AND the reasoning behind it is a giant middle finger to the deaf community.
